Long-term observations have highlighted some clear differences between brands when it comes to the performance of bearings in sugarcane truck wheel seals.

Usually, bearings hold up for about two harvests. The most reliable options tend to last up to three harvests. RKB bearings have also reached three harvests, and in some cases, they have been reinstalled for a fourth.

Our brand has already been approved by leading players in the sugar industry from Central America, putting us in direct competition with other premium manufacturers. However, purchasing decisions in the industry still tend to favour cost over proven quality, making market positioning a key challenge.

Meanwhile, our partner Disinco has started supplying RKB bearings to a new workshop that repairs trucks for sugar mills in the Caribbean. This is a great development, opening up opportunities for further expansion.

Right now, we’re still gathering data to confirm whether our bearings can consistently last four harvests. If they do, it will be a major advantage in setting us apart.
